Cold Storage began as the projection artwork for the Peel It Back tour: six plates of scanned tape, oscilloscope traces and photocopied text that ran behind the band for eighteen months. They were never meant to leave the venue.
Halvard Press, a two-person studio in Ghent, offered to pull them as screen prints. Each plate is printed in three passes on 300gsm stock, monochrome with a single acid-yellow layer, and every sheet is signed by the printer rather than by us. The registration drifts a little from print to print, which is the point.
The edition is 120 of each plate. There is no reprint planned and no digital version.
